The Epicurean Red Hill is a stunning and unique Mornington Peninsula wedding venue, where Mikaela and Jason decided to tie the knot. This venue is really popular not only because it’s aesthetically gorgeous, it’s also a foodies dream. I absolutely love shooting there because I know the meal is going to be incredible every time (perks of the job!). Mikaela and Jason are a really laidback, warm couple who wanted their day to be one big party, and Epicurean Red Hill delivered, as you can see in the photos below, but another great thing about this wedding venue is that you don’t need to go far for portraits. There’s a nice little bush track right behind the venue with lots of lush trees and scrub which are a gorgeous backdrop for wedding photos. All the wedding portraits below were taken within a 60sec walk of the venue.
Kate and Paul's Glasshaus Wedding
Kate and Paul wanted to keep things simple. Low fuss with minimal getting ready and staged ‘wedding’ photos. They wanted to focus on their people and their party, and that’s what we did. I love the deep blue and green tones of these images, mainly courtesy of Kate and Paul’s chosen venues, Glasshaus Outside and Glasshaus inside. Glasshaus Inside is one of my absolute favourite spots in Melbourne, and I’d probably get hitched there myself if I was getting married any time soon. These lush green venues set the tone for a warm, fun and love filled evening. Lots of laughter, hugs and dancing. Amazing couple, amazing venue, amazing day!
