Rachael and Linc were never going to have a traditional wedding, they did it their way by getting married in an iconic Melbourne bar on Sydney Rd in Brunswick, and prioritising their favourite things (music, their pups, laughs with friends, each other). Rachael’s peachy flowers by Pomp and Splendour perfectly contrasted with her incredible blue hair, and she wore a comfy, low key wedding dress from Grace Loves Lace. No train was a prerequisite when dress shopping. These two adore their dogs, three corgis that are the centre of their universe, however they knew having the dogs at the wedding would stress them out so instead chose to project three huge images of them onto the majestic Brunswick Mess Hall arches. Rachael walked down the aisle to soul classic, “Hold on, I’m coming” and couldn’t help but dance. I loved so many things about this day a highlight for me was their DJ, Vince Peach. Vince Peach is a soul DJ from PBS, I love his show and to be able to listen to him DJ live for hours while working and get a photo of him was way more exciting than it ought to have been. And importantly to them there wasn’t a typical ‘wedding song’ in sight, no Ed Sheeran for these guys. I’m so stoked these two awesome humans found me and involved me in their unique wedding day!
