Kate and Paul wanted to keep things simple. Low fuss with minimal getting ready and staged ‘wedding’ photos. They wanted to focus on their people and their party, and that’s what we did. I love the deep blue and green tones of these images, mainly courtesy of Kate and Paul’s chosen venues, Glasshaus Outside and Glasshaus inside. Glasshaus Inside is one of my absolute favourite spots in Melbourne, and I’d probably get hitched there myself if I was getting married any time soon. These lush green venues set the tone for a warm, fun and love filled evening. Lots of laughter, hugs and dancing. Amazing couple, amazing venue, amazing day!
Alex and Josh's Fitzroy Gardens + The Craft and Co inner city Melbourne Wedding
This is going to be a big one. Alex and Josh have been together for like a zillion years and they have a really tight knit group of friends. When we caught up before their wedding they told me they didn’t want any super posey images and nothing cringey, and that they just wanted to capture a great day with their friends and family and the party afterwards. It was a hell of the day, we lucked out with weather, took our time so that there was extra time to chill out with their closest friends in the wedding party and their reception at The Craft and Co was the perfect setting for lots and lots and lots of dancing (plenty of photos below).
Alex and Josh booked me for photography only and had the awesome team Aisle Productions doing their video. Dress fas from One Day Bridal, celebrant was Caitlin Graham (it was a perfect ceremony!) and DJ was Rutherford Entertainment.
